Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer to join our team on a remote basis. In this role, you will be responsible for taking fully designed Figma mockups from our UI/UX team and translating them into a fully functional WordPress website covering both front-end and back-end implementation across all pages in the design. The ideal candidate is proficient in building custom WordPress themes and plugins, comfortable working with Elementor, and experienced in implementing dynamic functionality using PHP, AJAX, and MySQL.
Job Responsibilities
- Receive and thoroughly analyze Figma design files provided by the UI/UX team.
- Implement all design pages into a fully functional WordPress website with pixel-perfect accuracy.
- Develop custom WordPress themes and/or child themes based on design specifications.
- Build and configure custom plugins to support required functionality.
- Implement front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Elementor.
- Develop back-end functionality using PHP and MySQL, including custom post types, custom fields, taxonomies, and database interactions.
- Implement AJAX-based interactions for dynamic, seamless user experiences.
- Ensure full responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.
- Optimize website performance, speed, and SEO best practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in custom WordPress theme and plugin development from scratch.
- Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Elementor page builder.
- Solid back-end development skills in PHP and MySQL.
- Experience implementing AJAX for dynamic interactions.
- 3+ years of professional WordPress development experience preferred.
